Passion

I am biologist, entrepreneur and photographer. I was founder and CEO of a leading Dutch nature and culture communication company. Nowadays I am an all round travel photographer,  photojournalist and author.

 

I have published hundreds of images on a wide variety of topics. The passion to photograph is intense, the drive to shoot great images for you. To show you how beautiful the world is, or how terrible the world sometimes can be... The last years I published a price winning photo book about the nuclear disaster in Chernobyl in the Ukrain.

In 2019 I made a 35.000 km trip to Mongolia and the 'Stan'-countries to photograph the nature and people in those countries.

Awards

* In 2015 I received - together with my colleague photographer Hans Wolkers - a second place in the International Photography Award in the category Documentary Books for my photo book Silent Witnesses about the nuclear disaster in Chernobyl.

* In 2016 I won the jury price for best panorama photo at Kamera Express.
